Mosaic Biosciences is a biotherapeutics drug discovery company that partners with
biopharmaceutical companies to discover novel protein and antibody therapeutics. Our
experienced and dedicated research teams collaborate with our partners to design, manage, and
execute research programs to rapidly advance clinical candidates, starting at any point from early
discovery into preclinical development. We are seeking a driven and motivated Inside Sales
Representative to drive our business growth through commercial sales support.

Position Overview:
We are hiring a full-time Head of In Vivo Antibody Discovery to lead our In Vivo Antibody
Discovery team at Mosaic. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing
hybridoma and single B cell screening workflows to support Mosaic partners’ therapeutic
antibody discovery programs. This is a hands-on scientific leadership role that combines deep
technical expertise with the opportunity to build and scale a new capability area within the
company. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in immunization strategies and
downstream hybridoma and single B cell screening techniques and will be passionate about
delivering high-quality candidate molecules to support our partners’ discovery pipelines. This
candidate will lead a small but growing team and work cross-functionally with colleagues in
protein engineering, expression, characterization, and functional assays to drive seamless,
integrated antibody discovery campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and oversee in vivo antibody discovery campaigns, including immunization strategies, screening approaches, and hit selection
  • Build and optimize robust hybridoma and single B cell workflows suitable for diverse therapeutic targets, multiple species, and various immunogen formats
  • Lead a team of scientists and associates, providing mentorship and scientific guidance while ensuring technical excellence
  • Work closely with the project leadership team to align in vivo strategy with partner goals and broader campaign objectives
  • Collaborate with upstream (antigen design) and downstream (screening) groups to ensure seamless handoffs and rapid data generation
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in external meetings with partners as needed
  • Drive innovation by evaluating and implementing new technologies, including AI/ML approaches, to improve workflow efficiency and candidate quality
Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related field with 8+ years of experience in in vivo antibody discovery (or MS with 12+ years)
  •  Deep expertise in murine immunization, hybridoma generation, and single B cell screening technologies
  • Experience building and leading high-performing scientific teams
  • Track record of delivering therapeutic antibody leads through in vivo discovery workflows
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Experience in a CRO setting is strongly preferred

Location: This is a full-time, in-person position based in Boulder, CO

Compensation Range: $155,000 - $200,000 (Title and compensation will be determined based on experience and level)
